Rotary International is one of the largest service organizations, having 1.2 million members and has over 35,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide. Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change.
Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast is one such club which belongs to Rotary District 3141, Mumbai. We were established in the year 1989 and have 65 members as of 1st July 2018. We are a 100% Paul Harris Club. The club also has its own trust named “The Bombay Seacoast Rotary Foundation” which is a charitable organization with tax exemption and 80 G benefit.
With the support of our foundation and our club members, we are undertaking a number of path-breaking community service projects for betterment of our community. All these projects focus on the following six Rotary Thrust Areas:
- Peace and conflict prevention/resolution.
- Disease prevention and treatment.
- Water and sanitation.
- Maternal and child health.
- Basic education and literacy.
- Economic and community development.
